    Arkadaşlar merhaba,

    RIP was originally specified in RFC 1058. Its key characteristics
    include the following:
    * It is a distance-vector routing protocol.
    * Hop count is used as the metric for path selection.
    * The maximum allowable hop count is 15.
    * By default, routing updates are broadcast every 30 seconds.

    CCNA notlarından yukarıdaki bilgiye ulaştım.

    Daha sonra aşağıdaki çıktıyı router'dan aldım. Buradaki 120 olan
    "Distance" ile yukarıdaki max 15 olan "hop count" arasındaki fark
    nedir?

    Teşşekürler.
