Ilker Temir was born in 1977 in Isparta, a city to the south of Turkey. He studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Middle East Technical University in Ankara and graduated in 2000. He started working in 1995 and has been living in Belgium since 2001. Thanks to his good fortune, he has always worked for great companies and organisations, in interesting projects with wonderful people. He has travelled a lot, met amazing people from very different countries and cultures. He has learned a lot and he still is learning. He is now working as an Incident Manager at Cisco Systems and doing an MBA (Master of Business Administration) at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. He knows he doesn't want to live in Belgium forever. But he loves the European continent, Turkey and Istanbul that he doesn't intend to go too far for too long.

He enjoys travelling, spending quality time with friends, getting to know new people, creating new things -let them be small or big-, wining and dining, taking photographs, history, learning new things; basically dealing with anything that makes him intrigued.

He created this web site in 1999 to share a few documents he had written. He still remembers the excitement he had when there were barely a few visitors a week. When he noticed that there has been more than 652 thousand visitors from 189 countries in the last 3,5 years, he first couldn't believe it, then thought the time had come to make an update at the 10th year.
