Baska marka switchlerde her port icin broadcast suppression ratio diye bir deger tanimlanabiliyor bu deger multicast, unicast trafik icinde tanimlanabiliyor eger bu degere ulasilirsa ornegin bu deger %50 ise bu port uzerindeki broadcast trafigi %50'yi gecerse otomatik kapatabiliyor. Belkide oyle birsey vardir.
