[cisco-ttl] Cisco-Juniper RIP

merhaba arkadaslar,
gecenlerde garp bir sorunla karsilastim ve fikrinizi sormak istiyorum. Cisco1721 uzerinde 1 FE ve 1 ATM karti var, uzerinde ayni zamanda loopback address tanimlanmis durumda fast ethernet=10.210.164.19/24, Loopback0=10.255.255.59/32 ve ATM=172.18.119.42/31. Bu Router Juniper router uzerinden MPLS core'a bagli. MPLS router port=172.18.119.43/31. Cisco ve Juniper arasinda RIPv2 calisiyor.

musterinin network'u loopback addressler uzerinden monitor ediliyor. fakat 10.255.255.x/32 seklindeki tum routerlarin loopback addresler ulasilamaz hale geldi (bu olay tum Cisco router;ar ve bagli olduklari Juniper'lar uzerinde de oldu, bundan sonra yazacaklarim sadece bir subede olanlari gosterecek) ve son anlasilamadan tekrar eski haline geldi. Cisco uzerinde fazla bir sey gorme sansimiz olamadi cunku router loglarindan hic birsey yok, interface'ler herhangi bir hata mesaji yada drop packet gostermiyor. ama Juniper'da cisco router'in loopback address ve ethernet adresi icin routing table'a bakarsak asagidaki sonuclari goruyorum. burada dikkati cekmesi gereken "age", ethernet adresi icin "Age: 4w6d", loopback icin "Age: 17:29:40".

gorunen o ki, ethernet'e bagli network loopback addrese gore daha uzun suredir advertise ediliyor (cisco tarafindan), loopback her zaman "up" olacagi icin bence kesinlike loopback ethernetten daha uzun suredir advertise ediliyor olamli en azindan esit sureyle olmali. Cisco router'da RIP in advertise etmemesi icin, interfacein down olmasindan baska bir neden olabilir mi, ya da loopback interface ssut down edilmemisse down olma ihtimali var mi. son olarak Juniper uzerindeki farkli age'lerin bi aciklamasi varmi

 Juniper uzerindeki routing table entry'leri asagidaki gibi. route'larda metiklerin 2 oldugu, ayni interface uzerinden bagli oldugu ve next hope'larin ayni oldugu ve RIP sayesinde ogrenildigi gorulecektir sadece "age"ler farkli

Cisco routerlar ayni zamanda DLSW ile LAN uzerinden baska cihazlarla loopback interface source olacak sekilde haberlesiyor. Router loglari birsey gostermese de SNMP loglarindan DLSW peer up/down event'leri var. DLSW hakkinda hic bir bilgim olmadigi icin olayin bu yonunu arastirma sansim olmadi. fikir yurutmede yardimci olabilme ohtimaline karsi eklemek istedim
