32 bit subnet mask demek, PCnin bagli oldugu tek bir network var ve o network'te sadece bir "host" (o da PCnin kendisi) var demektir. "Default Gateway" in ayni olmasi butun IP paketlerinin "route" edilecegini yani o "interface" uzerinden yollanacagini gosterir.
Bunu "XP de "route print" komutu ile de gorebilirsin..

Sizlere merak ettiğim bir konuyuu danışmak istiyorum. pc ile dial up
bağlantı yaptığımda ip konfigürasyonunda ip adresinin 32 bitlik
subnet mask aldığını ve defaualt gateway olarakda kendisini ip
adresini gösterdiğini farkettim .32 bitlik subnet mask bana anlamsız
geldi zira network de ki tek makina başka makinalar ile nasıl
iletişime geçiyor....Ayrıca gateway niçin kendisi.?
Bu noktada bir acıklama getirecek bir arkdaş varsa sevinirim.
