    Because Threat Response works in conjunction with intrusion detection systems, your network should have an installation of either or both:

    * Cisco Intrusion Detection System (formerly NetRanger) version 3.x or higher.

    * Internet Security Systems RealSecure. Threat Response has been tested with RealSecure version 6.5 and 7.0.
