Turkey Internet Connectivity Map (07.24.2000)

        This information is gathered by querying BGP tables from various looking glasses and RIPE database.
        TTNET has also nodes outside Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir but since no BGP neighbors are present outside these cities, all TTNET backbone is not shown.
        The backbone connections between UlakNet and TTNet nodes in different cities are not shown on the map to make it simpler. UlakNet has 34 Mbps ATM links between Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir. TTNet has also multiple 155 Mbps ATM links betwwen these cities.
        Some of the peerings shown on the map are not validated and they are assumed to exist.

Green colors show Satellite Earth Stations (Registered by Turkish Telekom)
Cyan colors show Educational Institutions
Yellow colors show Internet Service Providers

Black links show customer relationship (announced to Internet)
Magenta links show peering
Dotted links show connections that were found in Ripe database but could not be verified to be correct
